Most Atheist Are Agnostics and for Good Reason. 

   Whether you are an atheist or agnostic, or you’ve been a prodigal for so long that you question even the very existence of GOD, this is as good as any time to consider the obvious. It is the human condition to question everything and try to distinguish the real from the imagined. GOD made us in His own image, which means he wants us to think things through. Maybe you are looking for something to get you through this sea of despair that is trying to drown you. I want to assure you that I have been in all of those places, so I speak of what I know experientially, if that is even a word. I remember doubting GOD’s existence, actually not believing at all. I remember thinking that Born-again believers were holy-rollers, nuts, weirdos, and not wanting anything to do with them. I also broke up with GOD after twenty-one years of walking with Him as a devout student of the Word. There are many reasons why we break up with GOD. I also can relate to treading water so long in the sea of despair that you just want to stop paddling and use your last breath to suck into your lungs a gulp of that salt-water of death. Drowning can be the easiest or the worst way to go, depending on one’s frame of mind.

     I have lived through and survived the fiery furnace of affliction for so many decades, that commonsense says, this has to be of GOD, and He must have a perfectly good reason for it. I have found that if it doesn’t make human sense, it usually makes GOD sense. I’ve been hurt in every way possible, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have yelled at GOD, researched GOD, sought GOD, and doubted Him. Each time, though, I’ve asked Him to show Himself real to me, and the faithful GOD that He is, it wasn’t long down the road that He would knock my socks off with something so coincidental to my particular problem that it would be mathematically impossible to explain away. I’ve seen thousands of acts of GOD that are simply inexplicable. Sometimes it’s an event, sometimes it’s a Scripture, sometimes it’s a person, and sometimes it’s aptly placed on my social media feed. Regardless, when I seriously contemplate it, I can hear the Holy Spirit say, "Wrap your brain around it for a few minutes, you'll see that it was Your Father keeping you going when you continue to want to give up."

     Coincidences aren’t chance, because there is no such thing as chance. If there was, then they’d be no such thing as an All-powerful and Sovereign GOD. I tell people the best way to judge one's sanity is this: A sane person with David-like faith questions whether or not he's delusional, and a delusional person is convinced he's sane. So, if you are feeling guilty and beating yourself up for doubting GOD, or skeptical and want to find some way to denounce everything in this world, don’t worry about it. GOD understands. He knows our thoughts before we think them, and He has the answer planned ahead of time. If there is anyone who understands what it’s like to be human, it’s GOD, because he was. He came down here and suffered hell on earth in the physical limitations of the human body. The Bible says, He remembers that we are but dust. (Psalm 103, now go look for it.)

     He understands time as we experience it, even though He lives beyond time because when He came to earth as a man.  When Jesus finally did realize who he was as the son of a carpenter, but the Son of GOD,  he had to wait two decades  to call his first disciple, and three more years to complete the work.  GOD always answers the sincere heart, the one who really is seeking Him. That’s a guarantee. He proves Himself to the sincere hearted, to the broken and contrite, those are His favorite kind. One thing I will tell you is this, He is not an on-demand GOD. He works on his own time schedule, His own way.  He answers us when the timing is perfect, not when we demand it of Him.  

   However, for those with a chip on their shoulder, trying to prove He doesn't exist, you can count on Him not answering.  If one is hell-bent on demanding GOD think and act like a human does on a human's time table, well, you can count on him proving you are right in your own mind, until it's too late, when you find out after your last breath that you were wrong all that time. YHVH GOD will never leave or deny the truth seeker with a humble heart, he will ignore the one with the proud heart, or the one who has created Him in the image of humans. I'm still waiting for GOD to prove to me that I'm right about a few things, I've been waiting thirteen years, but until then, He'll continue Divine Coincidence after Divine Coincidence because He is empathetic to my struggle. He will be to yours also.  After all, He wrote your story before you were even born.  He wrote every mistake into your story, because some of us learn  by trial and error, mostly error. 

AUTHENTIC  VS  COUNTERFEIT    

     I am a writer who hates writing. That's like saying I'm a track star who hates running.  I find writing to be quite a  chore, like cleaning the shower, but it needs to be done. I tell people cleaning the shower clears out the soap scum, and writing clears out my brain. So many thoughts run amuck up there. I used to take ADHD meds, then I went KETO and realized Ketones are so much healthier for my brain, but not quite as effective. Lately, I've been writing a lot about the counterfeit teachings of the Christian Church. It's not like I'm mad at them, but more like I'm mad at the Adversary, who is an expert counterfeiter. 

      What is a counterfeit? It's something that wants to be like the real thing and thinks it's the real thing and doesn't have a clue that it's not the real thing, well, most counterfeiters are like that. I guess you could say my first marriage was a counterfeit marriage. I thought we were spiritual mates, I was sure of it. We weren't. I thought we were soulmates, I was sure of it, I was wrong. It lasted thirty years so it passed the test of time, but I was wrong the whole time. I had no idea who my husband was because he hid his true self from me and himself for so long.  I still don't know who he is or whether he is authentically saved. I'm relieved about there being no hell, though, because that haunted me for ten years. I was so worried that he lost his salvation, at least I know if he has, he won't be suffering conscious eternal torment and torture for all eternity, because that truth was counterfeit too. All these counterfeit truths, or LIES that I believed do make me angry, though. This post took more than a year to write, because I had to be as diplomatic about it as a northerner could be. The BIGGEST and Most EGREGIOUS LIE of Christianity

      The enemy of GOD, sometimes referred to as the devil will do his best to convince people that they are the real deal. He will give them counterfeit happiness, counterfeit riches, a mega-ministry with millions of followers. The thing about the counterfeit is that it always comes first. Take for example King Saul. He was the people's preference. He was tall, handsome, powerful, and GOD even gave him some successes in the beginning, however, his counterfeit loyalty to GOD came through loud and clear within a couple of years of his reign. The devil always starts with a counterfeit movement before GOD's true new thing. GOD allows it, thus weeding out those really not interested in pursuing the truth. Think about the times Jesus healed and fed people. Tens of thousands benefited from his miracles, but only 120 in the end were interested in his truth. 

    Sometimes, I will get into a funk and stop believing in myself and my  calling. When I do I go and listen to a few favorite self-proclaimed prophets/authors/teachers. I have two particular favorites I go to.  They are nobodies in the vast configuration of things, but they do have a large following.  They are on YouTube and Rumble, and I always find myself going back to them. I feel sorry for them, because they are absolutely convinced they are the real deal. They have 100K followers or so. They have written books and are ranked on Amazon pretty high up, but they are as clueless to their counterfeit teachings as are their fans. 

    There isn't a darn thing I can do about it, and it frustrates me, because they have more people praising them and following them who are also completely closed off to hearing the truth. How do I know they are fake? Because they've both predicted things that never happened. One in particular teaches that the 1,000-year of reign of Jesus would come when Donald Trump got re-elected and back into power. She predicted that for eight years. Yeah, she didn't predict he would "step away" from the White House for four years and work behind the scenes. She didn't see that coming. The other made many more predictions and claims "The Spirit of the LORD says," all the time and has published his prophecies as if they are Divinely Inspired Scriptures, with the same authority as the Bible.

     These are not bad people. They aren't building empires for themselves, they have the best of intentions. They want the Kingdom of GOD to expand. They have good hearts. The problem is, they've been blinded for so long to their own erroneous teaching that there is no convincing them that they are way off base. They use the traditional church method of interpreting prophecy. One thing I've learned is that GOD never lets man predict His next move, and they can't see that, they just go with what they've learned all of their lives in the accepted church teachings. 

      Jesus said that counterfeit signs and wonders would be in the last days. The Bible is replete with counterfeit magic arts, all the way back to Exodus and even in Acts 16. Paul was confronted by an authentic fortune teller who was a slave girl, who correctly predicted the future for her owners. Paul, rebuked the evil spirit to come out of her, thereby, he attributed her power to Satan, not to GOD. The Bible tells us that Satan and his minions come masquerading as angels of light.  That's the thing about false prophets, they don't know they are false prophets. So, if they are convinced they are the real thing, then they are experts at convincing their followers of what they believe to be the truth. Deuteronomy 18 is quite specific on how to judge a true prophet from a fake one. 

     I'm not a prophet, I don't predict what GOD is going to do, however, I have theories that I keep to myself. When it does happen, I keep that to myself, also. It's only for me. It is YHVH GOD affirming me that I should continue to do that what I'm doing and just rely on Him to get it where it needs to go.  You'll never find me on YouTube or Rumble, I'll always be an author in hiding.  I'd rather GOD get the credit and I remain in the shadows, unseen.  That way I'm not disobeying GOD, but I'm not out there trying to build a name for myself either. 

     The only way to know the difference is to be like the Bereans in Acts, who fact checked Paul on everything. That's why I insist on my readers fact checking me. Don't just take my word for it. Seek out the truth for yourself and let GOD use the Holy Spirit as your guide, the way John said he would in the 1st book of John, another major hint, go find it for yourself. Don't just take your pastor's word for it, because, friends, he may be wrong but not know he's wrong.  Don't take my word for it, search out the truth for yourself. 

    We are supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day, well, might I suggest that we study eight chapters of the Bible a day? Which Bible? Well, of course I'm going to recommend the one I use.  (The Complete Jewish Study Bible)  Yes, I realize that will take more than one's fifteen-minute devotional that we purpose to squeeze into our busy lives, at least five or six out of the seven days a week GOD has afforded to us. Going to church will not make you an expert in Scriptures, so spare me the Hebrews 10:25-fall-back verse that people use to rebuke me for rebelling against the establishment. Hebrews 10:25 is not literally defined as once a week, for 90 minutes, sitting quietly while spectating a carefully orchestrated worship service, which really is just a mind-conditioning session, or a brainwashing. I’m speaking in general terms here, so I’m not speaking of all congregations, but the majority of Hebrews 10:25’ers.

    I’ve been to many churches in my 35 years walking with GOD, and I never felt comfortable or felt like I belonged there. I just never fit in. So, I asked GOD, "Why do I keep leaving one and going to another, and repeating this same pattern?” I loved His answer,

“Have you ever thought that maybe I was the One making you feel uncomfortable there, because I didn’t’ want you in a church building, but rather I wanted you learning from Me directly, like Paul did, alone in the wilderness?"

    Now, of course, I'm paraphrasing GOD's voice, because GOD's voice sounds much like our own, because the Holy Spirit doesn't have vocal chords. Make sure that voice comes straight from Scripture, and matches with the character of YHVH GOD Himself, and does not appeal to the human ego. If GOD tells you something, most likely it will be uncomfortable and really stretch you to step out where the water is cold and the fish are more like piranhas. You can expect to be bitten or rather eaten up by other church people who do not like what you have to say. If the masses don't like it, it's probably from GOD.  GOD also always repeats Himself, so if you can find it in the Old Testament, you can call it for the latter days, but in the Spiritual and on a global scale. 

    King David was given the blueprints of the Temple that his son was to build.  King David wasn't allowed to live to see it built, because when man does something, man tends to take credit for it as did King Solomon who built the first beautiful Temple. Solomon got the glory for the building, but David had the original blueprints. David didn't get the glory for building it, instead, he got labeled, "a man after GOD's own heart." Now, that's a better glory than building anything. I sure do hope that when the Remnant is strong, bearing fruit, that someday, after I'm gone, they will say of me, "she was a woman after GOD's own heart."

 The BIGGEST and most EGREGIOUS Lie of Christianity

    I'm going to challenge everything you've believed all of your life if you grew up in the church.  I know that I'll be stepping on some toes with this TRUTH, actually, I'll be stomping on them, because I'm that angry.  For some reason, in the beginning of 2024, I sensed the death of my earthly father was coming, and he's been an atheist all of his adult life.  I feared eternal conscious punishment for him more than anything. I tried to have conversations with him about GOD for thirty-five years as that was how long I was a devoted believer.  Even the year cancer came calling, that man wanted nothing to do with talking about GOD with me.  Days before my father died, I went on a road trip with my 2nd son who is agnostic when it comes to GOD.  I tried for four days to talk about GOD with him, and he wanted nothing to do with it because he said, "I don't want to believe in a loving GOD who sends people to hell."  

   Wow!  That was a conviction of guilt, because I raised five of my eight children in the church. We were there every time the doors were open. In 2018,  I left the church when I started really studying the Bible, and I could no longer allow the bottom three to learn the lies like I did the first five.  In 2018, my eldest did an ancestry search and she discovered our Jewish heritage, and I excitedly embraced it.  I refer to myself as a Messianic Jew. I praise GOD for it, because it was the out I needed to leave the Christian church. I wasn't leaving Jesus, (Yeshua) as my Savior, but I was leaving Christianity because I had learned too much about it's origins which I've written in previous posts.

     If you are reading a Bible with the word HELL in it, you are reading a corrupted translation of the Bible.  As I stated before in previous posts, the original languages of the Bible are Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.  Before the New Testament was written, the Hellenistic Jews, (Jews baptized in the {Greek} Hellenistic culture) translated the Old Testament, which I will refer to as the Hebrew Scriptures, into the Greek Septuagint.  What they did was take the Hebrew mindset and try to translate the Scriptures into a foreign language with a foreign mindset.  When Yeshua (Jesus) came to teach the TORAH, which means instructions, he taught his Jewish followers with the Hebrew mindset and cultures in mind.  When the New Testament writers chose to put his words down, they wanted his words in a language that most people understood, and they wrote it in Koinonia Greek.  It was as common then as our English is world-wide now.  Then, after the Gentiles took over The Way, as Shaul/Paul called it, they took GOD's word from a language most people understood and translated GOD's words to a language hardly anyone knew. Why would they do that?  I think that is obvious, whoever controls the Word, controls the world.  They did not want the common man to have the freedom to explore GOD's original intentions, because they had evil intentions of their own.  

    The best way to have complete control over the people and force them to follow their religion was to create fear and bondage, which the Roman church excelled at. They accomplished their desires and stole the truth from the common man.  The Roman Church began adopting other religious practices and "baptizing" them into their new religion called Christianity.  That is the sin of syncretism, combining  GOD's intentions for His people into other religions and doing that which is evil in His eyes. That is the sin in the book of Judges that the generation after Joshua were guilty of and why everything went so bad during that time.  Combining the Mosaic Laws with the religions and cultures surrounding them is spiritual adultery.  This plague did not leave GOD's people until the Babylonian exile.  Well, it returned with a vengeance, because the devil is in the business of religion, he is superior over man in that respect.  There is nothing new under the sun and the Roman church is just as guilty. 

     The concept of hell came from ancient Greek Mythology and in the 14th Century, an Italian Poet named Dante wrote a fictional version of this mythological place.  The Roman church saw this as their ticket to gain even more control over the Biblically illiterate, and they ran with it.  That in a nutshell is the history of the doctrine of hell that we've been taught and brainwashed to believe for nearly 800 years.  When I learned that truth about the history of hell, that's when I really dug into the Scriptures to find the "hell" we've learned. To my wondering eyes, I could not find one mention of eternal conscious torment for people.  I could not find one mention of people having immortal souls, UNLESS they turn their lives over to Jesus to live with him in paradise. 

    I don't think that I have to tell you how absolutely furious I was about being lied to for 800 years.  I looked up every verse that Christians use, and every single one is used out of context, and they've even replaced the words Jesus used like Hades, Sheol, and Gehenna and replaced it with the made up word  hell.  They inserted the English word Hell where it never belonged.  I began studying this and continued to do so for over a year.  I won't try to write all that I've learned in this short blog, but I will challenge you.  If you really want the truth, if you really want to know YHVH GOD as He truly is, if you really want to walk as Jesus (Yeshua) did, then you have to go back and unlearn the lies and start all over again.  Several years ago, I tossed every English Bible I owned and bought The Complete Jewish Study Bible, by David Stern.  It wasn't until recently that I discovered one very important verse in the Bible and took it deadly seriously. Job 42:

7 It came about after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, because you have not spoken of Me what is trustworthy, as My servant Job has. 

     GOD's wrath blazed against Job's friends for lying about Him, and it was only by the Grace and Mercy that He had Job pray and offer sacrifices on their behalf that He did not destroy them right there and then. The Bible is clear that GOD detests lying lips. Lies against Him and His Son are an abomination to Him. Hell is a lie, and it is the sin of blaspheming GOD. Might I suggest that you take that warning very seriously and do your own research. I will leave you with these two questions:

   If there was a place of eternal torment, then why is it never even eluded to in the Hebrew Scriptures by any of GOD's appointed Prophets? If there is a place of eternal punishing, not punishment, (punishment being a one time thing), then why is it never mentioned by Jesus, Paul, Peter, Jude or John? Revelation 20 only speaks of eternal punishing and torment of the devil, the beast, and his prophet, but it says nothing about people. In fact, if you do a search about what happens to those who do evil, the ENTIRETY of Scriptures say that they are destroyed, perish, killed. Even John 3:16 says the word PERISH, not eternal conscious torment and torture. Please, do not blaspheme your Heavenly Father and spew lies about him regardless of how many years these lies have been told and by whom.
