GOD's Chosen Ones Would Have Been Put Away Today

I had this friend who was my best friend for over twenty years. Twice GOD took her out of my life, and twice, I brought her back into my life. I was doing what other church people said I needed to do, and that was to forgive, even though she was never sorry. Well, that’s never been my understanding of what Jesus said in Matthew 18, but that is a different blog I wrote some months back. This last time that she attacked me will be the last time that GOD or I will allow her words to try and persuade me to stop following the Biblical way.

Miss Betty Baptist works at a hospital, but she seems to think that qualifies her to diagnose me as mentally disturbed. She has no medical degree, yet she claims that her “professional” opinion of me is also GOD’s. Miss Betty Baptist, who is Biblically illiterate has a god in her head that is not the GOD of the Bible, but I can’t convince her of that, because only she is right and only her opinion is gospel truth. I suggested that we could love each other and be friends, but only if she stopped telling me what I “needed” to do. I’ve never once told her what she needs to do or be like in her life, yet she seems to not be able to resist advising me to go against what GOD is telling me to do. The things that GOD is telling me to do, Miss Betty calls fantasy living.

Let’s make a brief list of things GOD told His devoted servants to do that by today’s standards would get them locked up. Let’s start with the Father of Israel, whom GOD told to sacrifice his son on the altar. He went as far as bringing his son up a mountain, tying him down on the altar and holding the knife over his son’s head to MURDER his son, as an act of obedience to GOD. Suppose Miss Betty Baptist had witnessed this, because there was a servant who went with Abraham and Isaac, yet Abraham had the wisdom to leave the servant behind, halfway up the mountain. Miss Betty Baptist would have called the police, had Abraham arrested, testified against Abraham, and he would have been locked up for attempted murder, and it would have been murder one, because he planned this act. His defense that GOD told him to do it, and GOD stopped him just in time would carry no weight with the district attorney or the public, including the million of Betty Baptists.

Let’s move on to one of my favorite stories of “mentally or criminally insane” servants of GOD by today’s standards. This servant of GOD joined the enemy nation, lived there for sixteen months, murdered thousands of innocent men, women, children, and infants, without the direct command of GOD, keeping some of the plunder for himself, and lying to his General of the enemy army about it. He made sure to leave no witnesses alive to rat him out. Then when the king of this enemy nation was going to attack his own brethren in Israel, this servant was first to volunteer to his General to prove his warrior skills in killing his own people. When he was rejected by the enemy’s soldiers, the General, who found him quite worthy, had to send this servant back to his home camp and force him to sit this battle out. The general said of this servant, “He has undoubtedly made himself repulsive among his people Israel; therefore, he will become my servant forever.” (See 1 Samuel 27).

Miss Betty Baptist will deny this truth in the Bible because Miss Betty does not know her Bible, but she thinks she knows the mind of GOD. So, who is this servant of GOD, who was labeled a man after GOD’s own heart? I will let you read the story, reading in between the lines, and not see it as your pastor has read it to you. You will note that GOD never commanded David to attack these villages and to destroy every living human. He did this on his own initiative. That makes him a mass murderer, surely to go down in the history books as one of the most criminally insane murderers of all time. Shoot, he would even top Jim Jones if he were judged today by Miss Betty Baptist. After all, didn’t Jim Jones claim to be GOD’s anointed servant? Didn’t he tell his people that killing themselves was the will of GOD?

Those are my two favorite stories of what Miss Betty Baptist would have criminally prosecuted. Now, on to some of GOD’s anointed prophets, like the one who was told to literally eat what we would call the Bible, and I mean, chew and swallow the pages. After that, he was commanded to lie on his left side of 390 days, and when that was complete, to lie on his right side for forty days, with all the sins of the GOD’s people listed, laying right beside him. Never mind the visions that he saw in the sky. Why this man would have been locked up for good by the men in white coats and thrown in a rubber room with a straight jacket on if Miss Betty Baptist had witnessed his obedience to GOD.

Then there was the man whom GOD told to walk naked for three years around the streets of Israel. If Miss Betty Baptist saw this most anointed of all prophets walking naked down her street in Lexington, for sure she would have called the police and had him arrested for indecent exposure. We should not just point out the men, because there was a woman who approached one of GOD’s mighty generals and questioned him as to why he hadn’t attacked a certain General. This general of the LORD’s army would not go without this prophetess/judge walking with him. If this female city councilor were to approach President Trump and command him to attack his enemies, and then walk behind him, telling him that he would not get the credit for this kill, but a woman would, again, Miss Betty Baptist would have called in the mental health professionals, telling them that she was delusional, living in a fantasy world.

Another is of course the lowly one who followed her and took 32,000 troops, letting 22,000 who feared fighting for the LORD be dismissed from the army, then 7,700 dismissed because they lapped up the river water by cupping their hands and drinking from their hands be dismissed. He then gave the remaining 300 troops only pitchers and lamps and told them to surround a camp of 132,000 enemy combatants to just shout and yell at his signal, would surely be relieved of his command and sent to the brig for the mentally unstable. But, according to Miss Betty Baptist, because I believe GOD has commanded me to write what He has taught me, to believe in someone who shows absolutely no potential of being any kind of servant of GOD, whom GOD would accomplish much through as a future hero of Biblical proportions, I’m living in a fantasy world.

The problem with Miss Betty Baptist is she does not believe that the GOD of the Old Testament is the GOD of today. She does not believe in His miracle working power, and the reason she does not believe is because He never does any of these miracles for her. Anyone with a little commonsense would understand that Miss Betty Baptist is a church snob, who thinks she is the only one who knows GOD’s mind and thoughts. Henceforth, since Miss Betty Baptist thinks so highly of herself, GOD is obviously not going to work through Miss Betty Baptist.

There are some church people who believe just going to church is serving GOD, and Miss Betty Baptist is one of those. In the thirty years that I’ve known Miss Betty Baptist, only in the early days did she volunteer to serve the LORD by teaching little children in Sunday School. She never did attempt anything grand for the LORD, because her life here on earth was so full of earthly pursuits. After all, she was raising two children with her husband and working full-time, because she flunked out of nursing school twice. She justified her flunking out of school claiming that she was following her own desires and not GOD’s, and she let that defeat end her life and ministry with GOD. She will tell you that she sits down every day and has her 15-minute devotions with the LORD and that makes her a devoted servant, but only according to her standards, not the Biblical ones.

Miss Betty Baptist seems to believe that GOD has given her the authority to diagnose me mentally ill for attempting great things for the LORD, and she has worked her hardest to convince me that GOD never called me to write for Him, that I’m mentally unstable believing that GOD would use a lowly unknown like myself. Answer me this, Miss Betty Baptist, did Gideon consider himself a lowly unknown? Did David? Did Ezekiel? Did Isaiah, and every other person called of GOD to let GOD work His mighty power through them? Or were they Betty Baptists ready to call out anyone who did not fit the church mold? Seems to me, that the church-in-a-box is filled with a very many Betty Baptists and it is no wonder that the spirit of GOD has left the church, as it did with Samson, and like Samson, they do not even realize it.
