Three Races, 

Two Horses and 

One GOD! 

     Most of my readers know that  I can relate almost anything that happens in the natural to  spiritual events in heavenlies, and that is because I know that GOD is intricately involved in everything that happens on this earth because it's His creation. When a carpenter builds a house with his own hands, by the time he's finished with it, he knows almost every grain that runs in every plank of wood that built that house. He knows every intricate detail in the design, planning and construction.  GOD is much like that with His Creation and with time and events. 

  I am convinced that one of His most favorite creations besides humans, of course, is the horse.  If you have ever gotten close to one, you can see the Hand of GOD by it's stunning beauty. It wasn't until I came to the horse capital of the world that I truly discovered them, and not until I watched my very first Kentucky Derby that I truly realized the magnificence of this creature. The muscle structure of that animal when it runs just screams Divine Artistry as you see each muscle working in coordination with the bone structure. Although horse racing is as much big business as church business has become, I truly believe that GOD can speak and move through horse racing at electrifying speed if one know where to look.  

    As a loner put into isolation by YHVH GOD Himself these past thirteen years, I usually have no one to talk to, and as an over thinker that could be a problem.  I found the solution to that by learning to aim every thought toward my Creator Himself.  I talk to Him a lot, and I mean all day long.  Every thought I have is aimed at Him, so when a thought comes back, if it lines up with His Character and the Whole Counsel of GOD in historical and cultural context, I know from Whence that thought came.  GOD most assuredly speaks to those who want to hear from Him, but one must be sure that voice is coming from the correct Source, and not from other sources, like our own egos or even minions assigned to us from principalities of the dark cosmic powers. (Ephesians 6).  The Bible is clear that GOD is into the details. Take a glance at Ezra and the specific people, animals and items that returned with the exiles to rebuild the Temple.  I believe that the rebuilding of the Temple is what is happening now, but on a global and spiritual level, because GOD always repeats Himself.  

     If you haven't lived in a cave, you know that the two superstar horses this year are SOVEREIGNTY and Journalism.  If you know as much about horse racing as I do, you know that there is the Triple Crown in horse racing like there is one football Superbowl, and one NASCAR  500 Cup series race that bring out the best of the best.  The three races are The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, and the Belmont Stakes.  Every once in a blue moon, one spectacular horse will win all three in the same year. The last time that happened was in 2018 with JUSTIFY.  He's my spirit animal, because that most astounding animal did something no other horse has ever done in the entire history of horse racing.  He came out of nowhere in the end of January, (my birthday weekend), raced for the first time in three qualifying races, and scored enough points to get into and dominate the Kentucky Derby. He then went on to easily take  the Preakness title, and finally, he received the coveted Triple Crown title in the Belmont Stakes.  I totally got into this series, because I knew my future depended on a horse race.  It was just one of the many times my answer and my relationship with GOD flourished from a fleecing!  (Judges 6).  For your enjoyment, Each leg of the the Triple Crown won by JUSTIFY)

   I fell crazy madly in love with that horse, not so much because of his breeding, but because of his name.  I was going through one of the most awful times of my life, and there have been many, but I clearly heard GOD promise me that He would justify all that I have been through for a greater good. I'm not into gambling away the provisions of Jehovah Jireh, but I have no problems betting my hopes and dreams on a horse race, and GOD has always come through for me. The previously unknown JUSTIFY accomplished what no horse has ever done, then faded into the background by retiring from racing. His present job now is to reproduce other thoroughbreds.  Are you seeing what I'm seeing?  I'm a nobody with the hopes of doing the same.  He's my spirit animal because I see in him what GOD sees in me.  We even have an imaginationship!   

      In 2023, I went to go see  JUSTIFY in person, on the 5th anniversary of his stunning victory, and when  I walked up to him, with my eyes watering, I whispered,  "You know who I am, don't you?"  He stared at me with those big beautiful brown eyes and we connected heart to heart. We stood there staring at each other, and we became one in spirit.  He recognized me as another thoroughbred, even though I was just one of many humans in that barn.  I stayed back and just communicated with him, knowing that our Creator put it in his heart that I was someone special too, and we had the same Creator and were created for the same purpose. After I walked out of that barn all alone, I heard him whinny and call to me, and that was confirmation enough for me. The five other horses, including American Pharoah and Maximum Security were also in that barn and quite silent the whole time we were in there.   

     Recently, I asked GOD about this year's races and why SOVEREIGNTY was not going to run in the Preakness.  I knew there had to be a good answer with a deeper spiritual meaning to this, because he would have easily won the Triple Crown this year.  GOD always answers our questions, but sometimes we have to wait for the answer.  My answer came about a month later, while preparing to go see my beloved horse, JUSTIFY.  I believe GOD let me know that He took SOVEREIGNTY out of the 2nd leg of the race to show me that Journalism does have a stake in the horse racing world and he is a powerful force, however, that coveted  Triple Crown title belongs to JUSTIFY still, and it will remain as such until GOD wills for another aptly named thoroughbred in His perfect time for His perfect reasons. 

    It was then that He expanded on that answer and the deeper meaning hit me, and you are going to love this.   I really got involved in this years series when I learned that a horse name SOVEREIGNTY was in the Derby. Immediately, I caught on to what GOD was doing, and I predicted and hoped for SOVEREIGNTY to storm the horse racing world.  SOVEREIGNTY is one of GOD's greatest character traits and the one I've battle with the most.  I told Him, (as if He didn't already know), that He could not let any other named horse beat out His SOVEREIGNTY, and that He had to prove that His Name ruled over all.  As usual, He did not disappoint.  Two of the best races I've ever seen were this years Kentucky Derby and The Belmont Stakes. (The Kentucky Derby 2025 and The Belmont Stakes 2025)  I knew SOVEREIGNTY was going to win them, I even posted it both times on my Social Media, but kept it private, because GOD's conversations with us are supposed to be just that, intimate and private.  

    Then it hit me like a Jockey's whip.  Journalism was the bonafide winner of the Preakness and came in second in the other two races in the Triple Crown leg this year.  Now, if you're not putting this together yet, let me do it for you. Journalism is man's word, and it represents man's free will.  Journalism is what man writes, whereas GOD's Word is SOVEREIGN over all.   So many people have told me that man has free will, and GOD stays out of man's free will.  I always disagree.  Man's free will and word are subject to GOD's will and SOVEREIGNTY which will always win over man's free will. Two of my favorite Biblical characters and stories prove that. Both  Jeremiah and Jonah wanted to run from GOD (Jeremiah 20 and Jonah 1), but GOD's SOVEREIGN rule and calling on their lives prevailed.  GOD had ordained a work for them to do, and as much as both butted heads with Him, GOD's SOVEREIGNTY ruled over their free will.  Man's free will does make a mark in this world, many times a negative one, but GOD's SOVEREIGNTY will always win over it, because GOD will forever JUSTIFY those who follow close after Him. 

     I'm in the same race with GOD and man,  I've fought with Him over dozens of things that have happened in my life basically because of some men's free will and how it has negatively impacted my life.  I've tried to run from GOD, but each time, He has stopped me cold dead in my tracks.  He has a race for me to run and a prize for me to win, and He knows that eventually, even though I appear to be in last place, I am going to succeed and come out in first place and win this Spiritual Race.  There are way too many days when I feel like GRONKOWSKI, the horse in the 2018 Belmont Stakes. I feel ten lengths back in last place, but in the end, GOD will breathe on me and push me forward to come in just behind another of His great characteristics.  GOD will JUSTIFY all the pain and evil that has been done to me, and His SOVEREIGNTY will rule the race I've been running.  

      If you are anything like me and you are fighting GOD's call on your life, no matter how much you lay back, no matter how slow you run, if GOD has an ordained plan to do a great work through you,  His SOVEREIGNTY will get you where you need to be and when.  Those other horses in the race will be there with you, and you need them, because if there were no other horses, they'd be no need for you to run!  

  Some Hills Just Aren't Worth Dying On.

There are so many people out there who just don't get it. But, it's taken me almost six decades to get it myself. My mother cursed me by saying the usual mother's curse, "I hope you have a child just like you." Well, I had three. Like their mother, they insist on dying on every hill. They have to win an argument or debate. Sadly, I taught them that. I made a lot of mistakes as a mother of 8, and that was one of them. I didn't learn this lesson until recently, so I do not expect them to learn it any easier or earlier.

Being a writer, student of the Word, student of people, and all around social person behind the blue screen of a monitor, I observe a lot of people arguing online. I too used to be one of those who could get into a good knock down drag out fight on X or Facebook, or anywhere someone lit my fire with what I call their folly. It's so foolish to start and even try to continue a fight or debate on social media sites, just as foolish as it is to fight with one's significant other in a text conversation. It goes nowhere fast, and both end up worse off then when the conversation began.

There is a great divide, one like I've never witnessed. It's both political and religious, so if you think you can separate the two, you are living in a dream world, because they are intricately connected and always have been. The three groups politically are called, Patriots, Normies, and those suffering from TDS (Trump Delusional Syndrome). There is even a sub-divide among the Patriots, but that's for another post. Let's just lump all the "Trump Fans" in the Patriot's category. The Normies are the average TV-watching, fake-news believing sheep. They have drunk the Kool-aid, and there is no way to get that poison out of their system. They believe what they see on social media and TV, and they can't seem to turn it off. They may mean well and may be perfectly "normal," passivists, but they aren't helping the cause. Those with TDS, on the other hand, are lost because of serious demonic influence. I'm sure we've all experienced the crazed woman screaming her head off when Ruth Bader Ginsburg died, or shaving their heads and swearing off sex because Donald Trump won the election.

They are the cancel culture and they support crazed agendas that no one would have believed post WWII or even in the 60's-70's. The Bible is clear that He would send strong delusions to force them to believe the lies, and worse than that act out in strange demonic ways. They seem to have gone completely mad! (Pun intended) Because of their stony hearts, GOD has turned them over to their natural selves, and there is no way to rescue them. (Romans 1) They are programmed to hate Trump and anyone who is a Trump supporter.

When it comes to religion, it is the same with hardline fundamentalist New Testament Christian church people who treat the New Testament as if it replaced the Old Testament, or as we like to call them, the Hebrew Scriptures. They may claim they aren't replacement theologist, but they indeed are. I used to be one of them, so I can speak from experience. They read and follow Paul as if he replaced Jesus. They take Paul's words so out of context that they completely contradict what Yeshua clearly taught in the Gospels. These man-made doctrines are so ingrained in them from generations of seminary-taught pastors who drilled it into them that getting them to even consider that they have been taught wrong is like knocking down a hornet's nest in the middle of the day. We all know that you don't do that. They have all been so brainwashed and conditioned to think their way is right that YHVH GOD has chosen NOT to reveal the truth to them because they love their man-made traditions and doctrines too much. It's what is familiar and comfortable for them. Don't get me wrong, I am not questioning their salvation in any way shape or form.

Many of these church people hate Trump. They also have Trump Delusional Syndrome, because Trump isn't a Biblical scholar, or a Biblical hero like King David or Joseph. Are you catching on to the religion and politics mix yet? Do you understand that both David and Joseph were political leaders called of GOD and not priests? They were prophets, yes, also as deep into politics as anyone can be; and both anointed and appointed by GOD to be such. These anti-political church people usually have zero knowledge of Biblical history and the politics throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Truth be told, David was clueless when it came to the Torah, and 2 Samuel 6 proves that when he put the Ark of the Covenant on a new cart and one of his cherished men suffered the consequences of that "Biblical ignorance. He knew nothing of the TORAH, which means instruction, because by the time he came to power, the Torah had been just as corrupted and mostly lost and misunderstood as contemporary Christianity has become today, with its thousands of Protestant denominations and the Vatican. I'll stop there. Times were no different then than they are now. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Many church people think we are living in the worst of times, the last days, the end of days because they have no true historical knowledge of all the evil that existed before they were born. The Bible is replete with the most horrific evil, but it is white-washed or ignored, because it doesn't sound uplifting. I finally stopped arguing with these people, because YHVH GOD said it was folly. GOD has chosen to blind them, and who among us thinks they can go beyond what GOD has already decided and change His order? The only thing I can do is post and write about the truth GOD shows me and trust Him to get it to the hearts that are open to Him. We have no more power to change or convict a non-believer of their need for a Savior than we do to change or convince these people of the truth. The only power that can do that is the Holy Spirit. GOD calls us to a work or a job, but it is through the heat of the fiery furnace of affliction, He teaches us to trust Him to light the way for those searching in their own darkness.
